EMEA Delivery Excellence PM Practice Leader

Your Role and Responsibilities
This will be an EMEA based role to drive the execution of the overall TEL Delivery Excellence Mission for the EMEA geo. Delivery Excellence is a TEL practice that collaborates with delivery leaders and project managers in the markets to define, maintain, and scale repeatable and consistent methods and tools for project management. In this role, you will provide oversight and quality assurance to ensure that the triple constraints of cost, scope, and schedule are managed effectively for all EMEA professional services engagements. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall health of projects and workflows for EMEA business teams; enabling Project Managers and providing subject matter expertise to develop mitigation strategies for projects that are at risk.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Design, implement, enhance and enforce a Project Health Governance Framework.
• Foster implementation of Project Management best practices.
• Inspect projects for data integrity, process adherence.
• Identify repeatable patterns and provide input for structural solutions.
• Provide input to support WW development and maintenance of the TEL Project Management playbook.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to PMs in the Market on best practice execution.
• Provide enablement to PMs on effectively managing the triple constraints of cost, scope, and schedule of TEL projects, positively impacting revenue growth, cost management, and increased gross profit.
• Facilitate project health governance by collaborating with PMs to examine project health, conduct individual project reviews, and enable troubled project reviews, ensuring transparency, executive awareness, and timely intervention.
• Provide continuous improvement for processes, methods, tools through repeatable pattern identification and collaboration.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager with experience creating and executing project management plans including, scope and change controls, communication plans with stakeholder meetings, status reporting and project health metrics, and deliverables management with time and financial controls.
• Experience in navigating matrixed and cross-functional organizations to resolve issues, propose risk mitigation strategies and provide project direction that quickly builds credibility and influences as a trusted advisor.
• Adept at cultivating teamwork and problem-solving while working under delivery expectations and deadlines.
• A provable track record utilizing project delivery disciplines and frameworks to successfully deliver in a way that is both nimble and fast.
• Demonstrable success in communication and personal relationship development at all levels – from engineers to CIOs – with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Project or program certifications including but not limited to PMP, CMMI, Scrum Master or Agile Project Management

• Experience working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions including Data and AI, Automation, Sustainability, Security, Cloud, Power, Storage and zSoftware or equivalent technologies.
• Experience working in consulting or project management for solutions including SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and/or Cloud
