Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve network security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Conduct user activity audits where required.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures and associated plans for network, system administration and firewall that has been set my customer.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plan for network and firewall equipment’s. for IBM customer.
  • Involve with preventive maintenance for network and security under MA by IBM contract to ensure network stability and performance.
  • Assess any need for any security reconfigurations, rule implementation on firewalls and execute them if required.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform firewall security improvements, dormant, upgrades, RMA and reboot.
  • Deploy, manage and maintain firewall systems under IBM MA and their corresponding or associated hardware’s.
  • Manage network connectivity for Data Centers LAN and Wi-Fi for corporate network, Contact Centers, and regional branch offices. Users will be able to connect to network either through LAN or Wi-Fi to access to the corporate applications hosted on premise and in the public cloud such as Azure and AWS.
  • Hardening of both firewall and network equipment’s (Switches & Routers) to follow IT security standard.
  • Provide 2nd level support for any network and Firewall related incidents for both at the customer main office and regional offices.
  • Manage and support network devices such as Firepower & Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto, BlueCoat, InfoBlox, IP address management system (DHCP/IPAM), Aruba Wi-Fi controllers/switches, Access Points, CISCO ACI Fabric/Controllers for all IBM customer that sign MA with IBM.
  • Create and manage, User Management, Firewall Filtering Policy, etc.
  • Troubleshooting and monitor incident case related with Firewall, such as Palo Alto, ASA, Checkpoint, Infoblox, CISCO and other related network device.
  • Provides 2nd level support for any LAN or WAN network incidents related to customer issue on SD-WAN technology and be a point of contact to escalate the issue to any principle or vendor.
  • Provide preinstallation, and installation to the new device, cabling, patching and other to all various of network LAN, WAN, WiFi, Security appliance and other to IBM customers.
  • Provide and setup penetration test to customers.
  • Creating all kind of report according to customer requirement such as RSA, incident report, project documentation, network/Firewall diagram, and security measurement.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
  • Cisco Certified Security Professional – Security (CCNP – Security)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a systematic and logical manner, and maintain good communications with all relevant parties throughout troubleshooting process.
  • Demonstrates keen interest in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Must be fluent in the English language with proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills
